The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing for our upcoming Candidate Open Forum on Monday, October 5, from 6:00–8:00 PM at the Mid-Columbia Senior Center, and we want our community to help shape the conversation.

This forum will bring together candidates seeking elected office at the city, county, and state levels who represent our area, giving community members an opportunity to hear directly from the people asking to serve them.

We want to hear from YOU!

What issues matter most to you? What would you like candidates to address about the future of our community?

We’re asking community members to submit their top three questions for the candidates. Questions may focus on topics such as economic development, public safety, housing, infrastructure, community growth, or another issue that matters to you.

After the submission period closes, the Chamber will review the responses and identify the questions to be used during the forum. Candidates in the same race will be asked the same questions, helping provide a consistent format for attendees to hear and compare their responses.
