This page contains two items that area businesses and organizations may find useful in answering questions concerning Lewis & Clark's journey through our region. There are two links to:
A 62-slide presentation, complete with narrator notes, that covers Lewis & Clark's experiences traveling through the Columbia River Gorge in 1805 and 1806. The slide presentation can be shown using a computer and projector. The person presenting the slide show can use the "notes" section to provide additional narration beyond what is shown on each slide.
The slide show can be customized to a specific area within the Gorge. The sites Lewis & Clark visited are placed within the county they are located. The slide show includes sites from all six Gorge counties including: East Clark, Skamania and Klickitat counties in Washington, and East Multnomah, Hood and Wasco counties in Oregon.
